Association Le Clocher Vert

In Cailhau, we are participating once again this year in the Nuits des étoiles. This 2024 edition of Nuits des étoiles is dedicated to the astrophysicist Hubert Reeves, who was the founder and patron of the event until his passing in 2023. This year's theme is "The Quest for Origins".

Technological advancements such as the James Webb Telescope and current research programs (PEPR "Origins") may help answer significant questions regarding the origin and evolution of the universe, galaxies, stars, planets, and life.

For the evening of August 10th in Cailhau, we will take a leisurely walk, with our stroll punctuated by stories, tales, and legends about the starry sky, in both French and English. At Pech Nadiou, refreshments and snacks will await us, along with shooting stars.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, August 10th, at 9 PM at Place Achille Laugé.

Participation in this event will be free for members of the Clocher Vert and €5 for non-members.
